My house looks like a Chinese laundromats!  And as I am Chinese, and I've just put through a kazillion loads of laundry, hey, I guess it is!

RockWerchter was AWESOME!!!  It didn't turn out to be the expected mudfest, the bands were all really brilliant (bar a few *yawns*), and we all came out of it fungus-free!

Glad you had a great time! I listened to some of the concerts on the radio, sounded great.
I saw Marilyn Manson a few years ago and was greatly disappointed with the uninspired 'shocking' performance. Whatever.

Pukkelpop clashes with Lowlands? Hmm. Well, wasn't planning on going there lol. I'm a Lowlands groupie, THE ultimate festival for me. And I'm going back as a visitor this year. YEAH. So, you're not coming? *pouts*

Marilyn Manson would not have been my first choice of people to go see. But hey, we thought we'd check out the show. I just kept wondering how he didn't stab himself with that mike-knife combo deal. Plus the bad make-up was very distracting.

Sorry we won't be coming to Lowlands. *sad puppy eyes* At the moment I don't even know if I'll be able to get Matt to take a break for his birthday in July, or our 10th anniversary in August!

Yeah, I was wondering if that came across, I wasn't too clear. Last year, I ddidn't have the cash to go to Lowlands, but arranged to work there for a day, so I could still kinda be there. This year I'm going as a paying all weekend festival party costumer!

It always looks pretty good to work at the festivals. Yeah you gotta do some yucky bits of work, but you get to listen to the music in between.

Woo, glad you had a good time ... that lineup is UNBELIEVABLE. I'm going to Austin City Limits Music Festival in September with loads o'the same band so your post has me all atwitter! YAY!

God yes, I loved David and I was always peeved Peter Krause was the one who got all the kudos for that show. David and Ruth (love love love Frances Conroy) were my two faves.

&HEARTS MCH in Dexter. Saw it, loved it, lost sleep over it! (over active imagination when I try and sleep) Think I shall have to tape it next time and watch at a non just-before-bed moment.

I've gotten bored with Pearl Jam's albums, but they do know how to put on one hell of a good concert. I would LOOOVE to see Damien Rice live. He's great.

Awww, Frank Black was no good?! He's usually brilliant. I never could get in to Manson's music. As a public figure he fascinates me, but his music is blech. The only songs I ever like are his covers. LOL.

I have heard nothing but good things about John Legend. I'm going to have to check him out.

Yeah Pearl Jam's music hasn't really gone anywhere for a decade now. But a fantastic show! And Vedder is just sexy in that drunken, f*cked up, but totally talented, Gary Oldman kinda way. Ok, it could just be me, and I AM weird.

The festival is pretty full-on, but also so well-organised and chilled out. Still very exhausting and we struggled through the rest of the week of work. Had a complete no-brainer, no-movement weekend!

You totally have to keep me posted on Moonlight when the fall season starts. Who knows when we'll see it here.

Watched the first episode of Dexter last night on tv. Awesome! MCH is so good in that role! Made for some whacky dreams and crapped out sleep pattern last night tho'.
