He's as cold as ice...he's willing to sacrifice...

Counting down the days to November 21st...
I adore romantic, escapist, fantasy-type movies...and I'm not afraid to admit it!

Wonder if the film is going to live up to the hype...

I'm dragging my 14 year old cousin so I don't have to go alone. Some of the casting looks dubious but I shall wait and see. The guy that plays Edward will be at the Square One mall Friday the 14th doing a signing.

My roommate and I will probably go opening weekend. I made her read the book and now she's all into it. I'm reading "Eclipse" (book 3) right now.

Dubious casting? Like who?

I think Kristen Stewart is a great actress but sometimes she looks a bit manish to me. But Bella is supposed to be very normal looking so maybe it will work.

Square One is going to be a ZOO when Rob Pattison shows up. He was supposed to do an appearance in SF but thousands of girls showed up and they had to call the cops and cancel the event.

It may be more the fault of the makeup department than casting. Only Alice and Esme look "right" to me out of the Cullens. I'm sold on Bella and Edward from the trailers. The dye jobs to make brunettes blond are atrocious. It is hard to make people look as beautiful as SM writes them to be.

I think that Nikki Reed (aka Rosalie) looks terrible as a blond. And Peter Facinelli - oy. Really, there was no blond actors that you could cast to pay Carlise. Really? I can think of like 3 right now...

I think that Emmett is pretty close to how I envisioned him in my head.

Jacob - good face, great smile, he looks Native American.

Who else would have been good as Edward?
hmmmmm....
