well, i think you're pretty much screwed for brand clothes XD i think there's a girl on egl comm who buys a lot of brand stuff, aimeekitty or smthg and she's 5'10" and the stuff always looks.... not so good. however, she modified an angelic pretty pattern from one of the glb's and that dress looks great! hmm... it might also depend on the length of your torso because you might be able to find skirts that are long enough but then putting a shirt over them, the shirt might be too short
I think I'm just screwed. Everyone tells me I have long legs, so I'll just have to stick with commissions. She does? Thank you for telling me that. I would not buy anything if it did not look suited for me.
yeah, i think the problem is that japanese girls have a shorter torso so the waists of the one pieces will be really high on your body and that would look strange, nevermind the dress more than likely being too short
*sigh* Thank you for the advice and welcoming me! I'm glad there is a community for this small group. I will definitely look into more commissions. Thank you again.
The problem is I moved to Baltimore, Maryland. We do go up near Philly ever once in awhile though. Will the distance be a problem if I join your community?
I've found that if you can't fit the japanese sizes you most certainly have to make your own. I have looked at the plus size stuff and I have a @ss so I can't wear it still... so I'm learning to sew so that I can make my own stuff.
Well I have no butt, so I don't have to worry about that. But I have high hips and everyone says long legs. So I guess I am stuck making outfits and commissioning seamstresses.
I know how to sew, the problem is I have no time for it. I have school and my internship to go to.
