Phew. Glad to hear it. FWIW: vaccination stimulates an immune response (duh). Normal immune response involves production of numerous cytokines, such as interferons, various interleukines, etc. These chemicals can make you feel sick - they are one source of the "flu-like symptoms" that occur with so many viral illnesses! So the feeling of lethargy and malaise and muscle soreness that the animals get after vaccination is not something bad exactly, it's just an unfortunate side effect of the desired response, and if it's bad enough we can treat it but usually it passes quickly.

And I'm sorry I got involved in a comment-argument in your journal. I am shutting up now.

Oh don't be silly. It's so rare I get involved in any type of drama, I almost welcome it.

And the pup's doing really well, thank goodness. I put off her next shot (kennel cough) until next week because I want to just give her a little more time to fully recover from her reaction. It may not make a difference, but I feel better about it.
