Here's a thought, which landed one of my coworkers a pretty nice car: check the local paper for ads, find a car you like, and when you see them and the car in person, offer them cash. One of my coworkers has a Cavalier like mine, saw it advertised in the paper for 6K, brought 2K in cash when she went to see the car, and managed to get it. You might be as lucky.

Yeah, I know that method. It only works if you have cash. I have $600 available for car stuff until July. I'm seriously thinking about buying a moped while I save up.

Aw, naw man. Vespa's are 2k to 6k (new) and are rare as crap used.

Cause it's a VESPA.

BUT! There's a strangely large amount of scooters here, and Seish and I have been looking up ones to putter around town in for Amy. Monday, We're gonna go to the dealers and see.
