I subbed for Todd's Kindergarten class yesterday while he took a day to recoup from my move on Sunday (ha! I got to recoup today so it was all good). Anyway, I love any day that starts with kids cheering my name and dancing around with their arms in the air. That classroom is my #1 fanclub for sure

Ha ha! I like your answer. The little girl I used to nanny for, her mom was real small busted. I was giving her a bath one day (the little girl, not the mom :)when she was about 2 and I had taken off my sweater because she splashed a lot. She poked my bra a few times and said "Lee-lee? You FAT there."

I'm sorry about your mom. You're right. It's a shame that one of the most important things we can do in life doesn't require any kind of test or license or proof of skills.

Yes at least you have the undying and unconditional love of a room of children even if your mother is so unloving and distant. That does not make up for anything of course but provides some warmth when the family seems so cold...
