To make me forgive for the extreme lateness in responded to your sweet well wishes I find the time to post some photos of my trip to Lapland, as I promised a week ago

Welcome back! Thank you for sharing these wonderful pictures. It sounds like you had a fun time despite the less than desirable weather. I'm not sure I could have taken the cold especially now that I'm reaclaimated to live in the warmer southern US. With my sensitive nose, if my jacket smelling like deer would definitely drive me crazy! I'm so glad you had a fun time.
Hi Shannon! Actually wasn't SO cold; you can believe me...here in Rome snow is a very rare event (3 times in all my life!) so neither I'm accustomed to it. Plus, the weather was dry and therefore there wasn't that horrible humidity that creeps in your bones and it's the thing I like less of the winter. For the smell, it wasn't so terrible either! ;-) But after a week spent petting reindeers, dogs and horses...you can imagine a good wash was needed! ;-)
I did enjoy my trip in Lapland! It was so different from the stressfull and paacked life I lead in Rome. The first thing I thought when I disembarked from the plane at the Da Vinci's Airport was something I never experienced from my previous trips. I immediatly felt the air too hot, too crowded and too stinky! XD I never believed I would like the Northern Countries so much...
Beautiful pictures, Paola! I'm glad you enjoyed your trip. I can see why you liked it so much. When I went to Sweden, I went to a small village where everything was covered in either frost and snow, and they told me that it was mild for what they are used to having there. Yet, I thought it was lovely and peaceful. Stockholm wasn't as beautiful, at least, in my humble opinion.
Hi Mercy! I understand you perfectly! I too, when I arrived in Helsinki, I thought it was a nice city, but not as fascinating and beautiful as Lapland. It was a nice North European city but nothing so special.
