Ah, Science. Mine Eternal Mistress.

...And that was when I realized. If I accomplished everything I want to in life and become a great scientist, my combined love of the mysteries of the human body and sex and gender studies would surely one day cause me to invent real-life M-Preg. And the fanfic world would go mad for it; and I would hang my head in shame. Damn my science-driven ( Read more... )

and where, exactly, would these babies come from? the anus? Mangina? I also can't help but to raise an eyebrow and wonder how completely eliminating the need for women in reproduction would affect us in society. I think women would slowly become obsolete- which, as a feminist, I'm against.

Don't be silly- obviously, all butt-babies (not a technical term, as the anus would actually have nothing to do with the process) would need to be delivered through c-section. Not the most efficient means, but it gets the job done, especially with modern medicine performing so many nowadays anyway. And besides, I haven't figured out a way to bypass the need for eggs anyway, so it's all moot for now.
And to be fair, I'm against M-Preg, too. But as a scientist, I want to prove it can be done. Just once. And, y'know. Maybe one day women will somehow be wiped off the face of the earth and the survivors will NEED my m-preg technology to perpetuate the species. Since I think scientists can allready use the DNA from two women to clone a human, I'm pretty sure men are allready technically obsolete. But not the other way around yet. I think. I should do some research on that, actually ( ... )

well it will ALL be moot if you don't get your ass to college! by the time I was 21 I'd already quit one college, bummed around Minneapolis and started another college. you take your science classes, THEN I'll argue the ethics of your experiments.
