Holy crow--a new year already? It came so quickly, but maybe that's just because I was out of town for New Years' and this break is turning out to be nothing like a break. Exasperation prevails...

Anyways, 2010 feels like an awesome number--just...absolutely awesome, and I can tell it's going to be a great year. Because I can. And I have goals.

WUTHERING HEIGHTS is my soul. I (try to) read it every spring, because they (the book and the season, that is) seem to correspond and weave together in a dark, lucid, creative, breathtaking manner I can't quite describe.

...Yes, I -am- crazy.

Wuthering Heights was an absolute masterpiece by Bronte. I adore Heathcliff but when I reread it, I hate him. It's like that Katy Perry song: 'hot then cold'. Anyway. kudos to you on your resolutions! If you're looking for some inspiration, I highly suggest you try reading Maggie Stiefvater; she'll blow your mind away.

And if you have read her, good! Good luck with it all!

P.S. I'll tell you more if you're interested!

Yeah, Heathcliff is quite a creeper.

Maggie Stiefvater wrote SHIVER, correct? I've been wanting to read that for a while now; maybe I should...
