Life:

Watching Anne of Green Gables's fanvids intermixed with SPN promo vids.  Oooh, Gilbert Blythe.  I am thinking turrible thoughts about you in your incredibly Canadianosity, and your cowlick and your repressive social mores.

Damn you and your powers of suggestion.

Oh, Anne. And Gilbert and his lovely Gilbertness. Now I have to watch my poor quality AoGG again. SIGH.

Also, it's Cary Grant's birthday. Sigh, again.

Oh, ANNE!

It was surprisingly good. I loved the books - felt a powerful kinship with Anne as a character - but then as soon as she lost some of that wonder with the world, I felt sort of disconnected from her. But, now, I feel disconnected from the dramatic part of her and the romantic, settled, capable part is much more real to me. I'm trying to watch it and not have my mind warp it entirely.
I'm so glad you like it, too.

Blue dresses are nice. I had a pin to wear in my hair with peacock feathers - but I decided against it.

Oh Anne of Green Gables...that just brought back like a million and one memories for me, give me a moment to wallow.

I took a what-the-hell vacation day on Wednesday and did nothing the whole time. It was wonder, I would recommend it.
