Y'know, it looks weird from both angles. On one hand, yes, if you wanna beard, there are better options and closer public places to go. On the other...if I was a guy who worked 2/3 of a day every day, Id rather ask the girl to come visit me and we can relax and do stuff than take a 6 am flight from an airport that is 1,5 drive from Couver and jet across the continent...TOO MUCH PAIN in the ass (and men ARE lazy by nature)...unless it is some friggin' EPIC love affair on the hush hush... Id buy a version they had some event there in NYC...but then it was a weekend... I dunno. But it is weird.
