Thanks! I like having some color in my hair besides stupid boring black all the time.
Yeah, the bat pictures alm,ost didn't get posted because he was decomposed to where he didn;t even look like anything anymore :/
And dude, those miniatures are so tricky to paint cause they're like, as tall as my damn thumb and covered in obnoxious amounts of fiddly little details and stuff x.x But they are actully really fun to paint and put together.

Cute pictures Adri! Your Pony Puff Princess squad (love the name!!) is Tao, isn't it? I'm trying to get all this down.. Troy and Raf are trying to pin me into submission to play table-top 40K. Hopefully you and Raf can make it next Friday. Maybe then Raf and Troy can have a good old fashioned war?
Re: this is me not commentinglaika_come_homeJuly 17 2006, 01:45:15 UTC
Thanks! And nope, my girls aren't Tau (Taus are blue and tall and skinny and have weird heads). So far, I have Slaanesh Daemonettes (the naked ones with pink tentacle hair) and Sisters of Battle (the women with armor and capes).
As for your birfday, Raf peobably can't go. He leaves for two weeks in Virginia the next day. However, I should be able to make it, provided I don't work that night (I just started, so I'm not sure if the schedule is set already).

yanno Adri, it's ironic that I just decided to leave another comment and then I see your reply about 2 seconds before I got the notification. Blarg, sux if Rafael can't come, but I greatly appreciate you making the trip for little ol me still *huuuugs*. Are Tau, Slaanesh whoosawhats, and Sisters of Battle the same race just different armies or am I just being good at being confused?
btw: I originally was gonna comment and say "Uh... sweetie... you're showing a lot of err... boobie in that first picture... Of course, I'm sure you're perfectly aware of this :P".
Re: this is me not commentinglaika_come_homeJuly 17 2006, 02:16:57 UTC
Nope. Taus are a peaceful alien civilization. Slaanesh (and all other Daemons) are from the Eye of Chaos and are generally not very friendly at all. Sisters of Battle are human warriors, usually fighting for the powers of good (but will probably be villains in my army).
You made damn sure I knew a lot of fluff by lending me ten billion codexes to read when I met you! And what can I say, it captured my imagination *snuggle*
There is a book I want to get that has all the stories I read when I was younger (about 12 or so) about the 40k universe. Some of these stories are real classic and add a depth level to 40k which is second to none. Not to mention, it's great reading.
the cat my apt building has been feeding brought us a ground squirrel with the head severed and next to the body. ill try and snag the skull for you......but its creeping me out.. maybe ill just roll its head into a tupperware container before i go home......

The bird was cool, but the bat kind of grossed me out. Mostly because it took me a few seconds to figure out what it was.
You are so talented, I cannot believe you painted those things. They are tiny right? Like 2 or 3 inches big? If I am thinking of the right thing..
