I'm very interested by the fact that one of the arguments about how they're allowing a 'virtual zoo of service' centers around two dogs.

This was quite an interesting article. I'm not sure how I feel about all of this, but in general, I think that the species of a service animal, for the most part, should not matter. I certainly don't think it wise to restrict it just to dogs. That's just silly. What about people allergic to dogs? Do they not get service animals?

I'm a bit more iffy on the phychosis-preventing animals and whatnot, but they allow these people to lead relatively normal lives without or with less medication. I'll keep telling myself that this is a good thing.
