Just went to the movies with Ricardo. Watched District 9. Went there having no idea what it was about (only had a vague idea about aliens). Wow it was really great. They looked so realistic. I could have dealt with less gory scenes though but oh well. Here's hoping I wont dream about giant cockroaches/locusts ^^; Well at least they weren't little

I think it was more that the two species had a vague idea of the other's language, enough to speak to each other. I'm just using my grasp on French as an example, since I'm not even close to fluent but I can get the general idea of sentences from what I know. I don't think any of them expected the others to have a great grasp either, since Christopher was the only alien that noticed the eviction notices were supposed to be handed out with 24 hour notice (or some significant amount of time, I can't quite remember.) and MNU was doing something illegal

Yeah but Chris was smarter than the others in general. I LOLed at the part of the three years. Wikus was like 'hold your clicks' XDDD

Hm yeah I had to cover my eyes in various scenes. The fingernails one and also the tooth. There are things I cant watch and those are anything to do with fingernails, teeth and eyes. That one I kept looking and when he cut off his finger it wasn't so bad cuz it looked like a big fingernail ^^;

Yeah he made a cute alien XD;; Hm but I do wonder about his wife's love for him because she was about to ditch him at first but then changed her mind. However she's still waiting for him after all that time so I dunno...
