This is the kind of thing I always think about when he is seeing there souls, like how shitty that has to be.
I guess I never really thought about it, how much of a burden it must be to him, until that first time when his curse evolves, and Lavi can see the Akuma too (do you remember that? It's when they are fighting Eliade with Krory) and he looks like he is gunna puke.
I think it also is one of the biggest things that drives him to save them, because he is actually seeing the full extent of how much he is helping them

Would it really be a bad thing or a burden to see the souls?
Because knowing that, you could be the one to save them.
I think that it'd be okay to cease suffering at the cost of your own because as long as they're okay, your okay.

Well I guess it would be. Especially for a little kid. And with the akuma evolution the souls decay even further. Remember Allen's reaction when Road made that akuma self destruct? He takes it as his personal mission to save those souls.

Oh ya I remember that. However the first time he saw a level 2 soul was in Matel. That's why I decided to include that instead that time with Eliade.
