Agrippina's sister Smudge looked Siamese, which means ol' Panther Pants has some Siamese in his lineage. When he was at the vet, they asked me about his background, because the vet picked out the Siamese wedge head structure in Agrippina's black fur ( Read more... )

Sometimes when Mr. Peterson meows it sounds like she's saying "hello", and I swear she says "mama" sometimes. For the past few weeks, anytime my legs form a lap, she HAS to be in it -- it's like she has a radar.

Somehow, I completely missed the first and third picture posts. It might have been when my f-list was too long, so I was reading the "personal" filter and accidentally skipping yours because it is under the "syndication" filter.

ANYWAY. I had no idea she was so hot! And even dreamier than my Agrippina, who I totally crush on. I want them to have babies and make a new breed of glamourcats. Gender-bending glamourcats, even!

I think you should link "Little if any survival instinct" to the picture of Agrippina scaling the tree in the backyard.

I have also wisely taken the step of pruning back that tree to prevent any Agrippina-escapes over the back fence. I also bought material to make a kitty-proof fence edge. I haven't actually worked on that project, though.

They're often cross-eyed, too- like my mum's full-bred Siamese, Pepper.

Baby Eris is half Siamese, on purpose. I love the breed. That list should also include self-centered, vindictive, and prone to causing trouble. :)

Self-centered, vindictive, and prone to causing trouble?

Isn't that ALL cats?

Wyatt is part siamese, maybe part tabby? He has blue eyes and tan fur, darker around the "points". He's still recovering from a traumatic kittenhood, and isn't nearly as vocal as Mr. Orange. But the vet warned me, "if you didn't want a loud, annoying, overweight WEIRDO of an animal, you shouldn't have picked an orange cat."
