LOL, appropriate icon is appropriate!

This chapter was a bit of a roller coaster. But yeah, I had to have them make up by the end of the chapter, because I can't even cope with sad ending when it's just the ending of a chapter.

I loved the Mary scene. I don't know why, I just really enjoy writing characters coming out. It's a shame that Castiel's family were so bad about it, but that was only to be expected really. Also, John and Sam find out in the next chapter, so I hope everyone likes how I do it.

Yeah, poor Cas was a bit vulnerable. It was only to be expected, but poor Dean! At least he admitted that he blew things a little out of proportion. Poor thing, he's not used to having Feelings and he doesn't know how to cope with them!

And THANK YOU. One of my absolute favourite things is finding ways to make canon references in AUs :D

I know! The finale (season 6 in general actually) left me so upset. I've just been trying to fix things through fanfiction ever since! I can't cope with death fics either. Honestly, I think there's more than enough of that on the show. I don't want to read fic where people die too!

And thank you so much for your lovely comments, they make me very happy ^___^

“What are you talking about? You were mad at me.”

Castiel looked away from him, shifting uncomfortably. “About the other day... There is a chance, a very small chance, that I may have overreacted just a little bit.”

Dean choked on a laugh. “You... overreacted?”

LOL! Teenagers can be SO dramatic!

“Dean?” Castiel whispered, ragged and shaken.

“Yeah?” Dean tried and failed to keep his voice steady.

“I... I know that you’re trying to be, I don’t know, noble or something right now, by giving me some space. I know you’re probably concerned about taking advantage, but... could you please just get over here already?”

LMAO! Oh Cas!

Ah! Poor boys! This is a struggle for them both.

Ah yes, poor Cas! He's really struggling to know what to do with all the emotions. The trouble with them is that they are both really damaged so they're both going to struggle with things other people would be able to cope with, but that's exactly what they both need - someone who can understand what it's like to feel alone, and who won't judge them.

This was such a good chapter! Like the amount of flailing I had for it was immense. I loved that Mary was so awesome, she was so needed here. And poor Cas, his family is so shitty! I'm glad the boys got themselves together by the end though. Lovely update, I'm already anxious for more.

Thank you so much!

I love writing Mary so much. Dean really needed her here, and it breaks my heart that show!Dean doesn't have her. Yeah, poor Cas had a pretty crappy time in this chapter. I promise to make it up to him though!
