yay Slenderman! We seriously need to see him more in this fandom. I think my favorite part was Cas smiting the tulpa, I just love me some badass angel of the lord :) Awesome story!

Very cute! I loved Sam's rant, you had his voice down perfectly, as well as Dean and Castiel's. Just wish there would be a similar rant in the show...

Slightly OT but has anybody else noticed how nobody in canon ever alludes to D/C? Throughout the seasons there have been plenty of Sam/Dean jokes and references and Balthazar even called Cas Sam's boyfriend in 6x11 but nobody ever comments on Dean & Castiel's obvious chemistry. Personally I find that this makes it more canon since it's like TPTB recognise the possibility of the ship but don't wanna make it anymore obvious than it already is.

(Sorry for that little rant of my own there)

You know, I've been wondering about that for a while. They've been making Wincest jokes since S1, yet there has been no direct mention of Dean/Castiel, which is weird. But I like to think that as there's SO MUCH subtext but it's not referenced, that means it's canon XD

Exactly! I mean, it's impossible that nobody, not even Sam who's witness to a lot of eyesex between his brother and the angel, has picked up on all the subtext between the two. Throughout season 5 I kept thinking that perhaps Gabriel or Crowley would mention it as it was kinda their m.o to state the obvious and create uncomfortable situations but nothing doing. Also, in 5x18 when Cas gets back with an unconscious Dean and tells Sam & Bobby it was him, they immediately skip over the fact as though, like Dean, they don't touch on the fact that there's a lot of unspoken tension between him and Cas, despite the fact that it'd normally be the kind of thing Sam would be pressing Dean to talk about.

Heard about this fic from someone on ontd_spnparty. I recently got into the Slenderman mythos and had been hoping there was crossover fic with Supernatural...and you provided not only an awesome Slenderman plot but also some adorable Dean/Cas! Thanks for sharing :)

Thank you! I've been obsessed with/terrified by Slenderman for a while now and thought it would be so cool if they did a SM episode. And then I though hey, why not just write a fic about it instead and have the added bonus of some quality Dean/Cas action? XD
