Well I'm back from Aspen. I had a really fun time. We went cross country skiing a couple times, watched a little bit of the winter x games, and shopped like mad. Their consignment shops up there have brand names like Armani in it for fairly cheap - it's crazy. I sat like twenty feet away from Ryan and Trista in a restaurant. I tried getting

always wondered this
what's the difference between cross country skiing and walking while wearing skis?
because i can walk just fine without skis

Well, there's some people who cross country ski like they're skating, so that's different from walking, although I think that might be called "nordic skiing" if there's a difference. There isn't much difference with walking and cross country skiing 'cept that you don't lift your skis up off the ground, you just kinda scoot them along. It's a good workout and it's fun.
