I’m glad the shifting energy worked. :) Even though the piece is from Peter’s POV, I didn’t want to lose the strength of the others' perspectives ( ... )

I totally got what you were saying. All of it was very clear in the story. (And hella hot)

What about just having Peter following Neal's gaze to his wife with Neal's breath right there. And no words? Just Neal obviously trying to regain composure with wine once Peter notices him again. Peter's smart, and I think he could understand all of the thoughts without the dialogue.

So does this get back to you then...? Thanks for the help. I'm posting a little change.

Hearing it is different than hoping. Wow! That is particularly powerful. Thank you for a lovely Sunday morning story.

Ps you can delete this comment, but I did want to apologize for not commenting earlier. I was interrupted while I was reading your story and never didn't get back to it right away!

Please don't apologize. Often, when I read something I want to comment on, I have to go away and think about it first. And real life must be attended to. Readers are always welcome, even if they don't always leave a trail of breadcrumbs!

I say this every time but you write them so well. And you tell the story so well. I feel just like a voyeur peering in on this very hot, unconventional, smoking arrangement. And enjoying every second of it.

Thank you! There's such lovely subtext to work with in this show, sometimes it feels like text, nothing "sub" about it.

I like your writing, I love this series. It's fascinating. And you do a great job with the complexities of such a relationship. Not, wham, bam, let's take Neal to bed and the three of us will be happy forever. The three of them are full of concern and love for the others, beautiful!

Thank you for reaching out. I can't see how this kind of relationship would be easy, yet I can't ignore Elizabeth (or apparently, Neal can't), so I have to try to do the whole circle justice. I hope I don't spoil it for you with the next story!
