First a quick update. I've posted more of my stories on AO3. I have not posted all of my stories yet because I am doing a bit of updating as I go. My goal is to post them in chronological order so that they make some (sort-of) sense grouped together.

How are the kids?

The kids are doing really well. They're out of school for the summer (and have been for the last two weeks). We've been busy swimming every day. Sophie is taking voice lessons and Grace is taking ballet. William is determined to put together every floor puzzle we own at least 50 times, while Kate is equally determined to destroy them all and put every one of those puzzle pieces in her mouth. :-)

We're having a lot of fun.

I haven't read (or written) fanfic in a couple of years - other than the occasional silly yarn for someone's b-day. It's kind of sad that all that excitement has gone away. I wish there was another book to get crazy about, but I doubt that it will happen any time soon. Well, maybe with Jo's new book...

There are always more books and fandoms to get crazy about--but the kicker is finding one that EVERYONE on our FL are equally excited about. That is the key, and a tricky one too.

I'm very interested to read Jo's new book, though I have every expectation that it will be nothing like HP. And good for her, it shouldn't be! (and I hope people are intelligent enough to realize this) Though in my heart of hearts I do hope to love it just the same.
