Once Upon A Time?

Has anyone seen this show?

I haven't seen it but I'm sorely tempted after watching this video and learning that the series is written by the same set of writers who wrote Lost...

Yep. I am watching it. I like fairy tales. It comes on here at the same time that dear Oatmeal is watching Dexter the Killer of Serial Killers.

I like fairy tales, too. Or maybe I like hunky men wielding swords. :-)

I haven't watched Dexter, but IMO fairy tales beat serial killers any day.

Eh. I saw the first episode of Once Upon a Time and was underwhelmed. The acting wasn't that remarkable, but maybe I'm being too critical for a series pilot. If fantasy is really your thing then I'd give it a try.

It is hard to tell based on the pilot episode, but then again I loved Lost from the start. I kinda think that if a show is good, its pilot is usually good, too.

If I watch it online I'll commit to watching two episodes before I give it a real thumbs up or thumbs down, I think.

I'm...kind of fascinated by it, actually. It's the premise that caught me--the whole fairy tale characters being "real people" who don't know they're fairy tale characters thing. I like that kind of fantasy, and I like fairy tales turned on their heads, so this appeals to me.

I hadn't seen it until last Friday, when I stayed home from work with the plague from hell, and I ended up watching the three episodes that were available at the time, one after another.

See this is what intrigues me, too. I like the whole flipped around everything is different than it seems kinda thing that was so prevalent in Lost. I know that this isn't Lost, but I still think I might enjoy it...
