They were a bit mean to Rupert, weren't they? I would think at least one of the others had to struggle a bit, but editing can do wonders. Poor Rupert, shown in all his cluelessness! But at the end, he does come out with a pretty decent one. Just like Ron!

Oh, I don't know...perhaps they were a bit mean...but it is classic Rupert...and he does end up saying one of the best words at the end, so it ends up being sweet. I rather liked it. And I'm sure there were a few that spent time thinking about what that one word should be!

I haven't seen a copy of EMPIRE magazine this month, but now I'm tempted. Apparently they've done a huge Special Edition on the HP movies from 1-7 to include lots of interviews, etc.

I wibble a lot on the quality of the movies, but I do like my Harry. I may have to see if I can find a copy and pick it up...

Maybe you can find time for a trip to NY to see Daniel in "How to Succeed..." I became much more benevolent about his HP performance after seeing him on stage.

And I know, I know. It would be a tall order coming to NY this year - all things considered. :-) But you never know when the opportunity might arise. Did I thank you for posting that youtube clip from the show? That's the one that gave me the idea of going to see it for hubby's birthday, and we had a glorious day.

I meant "harry" in a more generic sort of HP-fanatic way--but I do like Daniel. He gives brilliant interviews and has turned out to be such a fascinating person.

Yes, you did thank me. :-) And I'm sooooo happy that you had a fabulous day. I'm also really happy to see that its inspired you to see more shows, too. There's such a wealth of them right now. Have you gone to see any others?

I would LOVE to come up and see "How to Succeed". It looks like so much fun. I was hopeful that we might be able to squeeze a trip in before baby, but that's looking less and less likely...and I really don't know about post-baby. I could leave the kids with the in-laws, but the baby??? Not so sure about that. Hopefully we'll have time to come up before the show closes (although I don't know when that is--late autumn?).

Oh, to be young and free and not 8 months pregnant!

Awwww! Rupert is too cute.

How are you feeling, btw? LJ's been quiet without you!

I'm actually doing really well, but I'm SOOOOO ready to be done.

Done. Done. Done.

Done. :-)

Thankyouverymuch.

AND NAMES. I can't tell you how much struggle we've had this time around...I still have no idea what this one will be called, which is very strange for me. Usually a name just comes to me (or Eric) and that's it. No other name will work or sounds right and thus the search is over. Sometimes we might go back and forth on the middle name a bit, but that's nothing--as long as you have the first name--but we don't and it's really odd.

I'm contemplating an LJ poll. If I can figure out how to work it. Although names are all so personal...*sighs*

I'm still waiting for middle-of-the-night inspiration. It isn't too late for that.

Of course, I could go with one of the names that Grace keeps suggesting. They're quite creative. Her current favorite is Sparkle. With Rainbow as a close second. :-)

Aww, how cute is Grace?

You don't have to set up a proper poll. You could just post a list of names, and ask people to vote in comments. But you're right, names are very personal, so you may not agree with the results, anyway. Don't worry! A name will eventually come to you. My view is that when in doubt, go with a classic. They never go out of style.

Oh, I'm sure we'll choose something classic as it will have to flow with Sophie, Grace and William...

Hmmm...I'm going to investigate this whole poll thing and then if it seems too complicated I'll just post a LJ message like you suggest. It may be next week before I post it though!

Yes, the one word bit is charming.

My children and grandchildren have strong names, as do I. I was named after my father's mother and was born on my name day, so I have always liked my name.

We have always felt a strong link to family for names--it hasn't ever felt like a responsibility, but more of a...connection...I suppose, to the people we love and have been important in our lives.

And then on top of that we've always chosen very classic traditional names. Sophie, Grace, William...so whatever we choose will have to flow with that. Certainly not 'Moonbeam' as my middle daughter would suggest. :-)

Words and names mean to much to me to be careless. I have no doubt that we'll settle upon a name...the question now is which one!
