It's snowing!! Pretty hard too. Only it's not really sticking because it rained all morning and so the ground is v. wet. It's sticking a little though. Cross your fingers!

Tornado Watch until 9pm. Showers and thunderstorms will quickly move northeast across southeast Iowa, through 7pm. Small hail…wind gusts to 40mph and a quarter to one half inch of rainfall is possible in the strongest storms.

I don't really know about this whole college thing. Don't get me wrong, I'm having a fabulous time. Usually. It often seems as if I'm enjoying myself in spite of something. Serenity kicks much ass. Yay for Joss Whedon and cool female heroines (and the men too, I guess).

Cried last night for the first time since my parent's left. I was just thinking about how much I miss being able to hug people (shallow, but I want someone to cuddle with) and then I started thinking about how there's no one here who's quite like any of my Lakeside friends and there were some bittersweet memories about v. innocent and sincere ( Read more... )
