Sansa

Sansa stared wide-eyed at Sandor. “We have to find him and explain!”

Sandor pushed away from the wall and came to her.

“Aye, we will. Just give him some time.” He pulled her against his chest, soothing her. His big hands stroked her hair, but for once Sansa was not comforted by his attentions and she gently pushed him away. As she did so, she ( Read more... )

Mmmmmmm, this is so good. The intricate dancing around each other that all three are doing is delicious. Things are coming to a head :)

Thank you! I very much like your comparison to dancing - as that is very much what they are doing, each to their own tune and rhythm, accommodating one another in a different way...

As even though they have gone through a lot together, each relationship is still unique and individual - not one is exactly the same as another. I think maintaining this separation and individuality is important, hence they are not sitting together holding hands and singing kumbaya...

I am certainly heading for the end - as I said in my notes in an earlier chapter, I finally started to see where this is going... It will just take a little bit longer to get there (but not too long)!

So yeah, Jaime is a bit 'WTF?' for now, but he will recover... And besides, he is not the only one confused, Sansa and Sandor not quite easily dismissing him either. But you were not far off from Sandor and his motivations - he is a man of action after all more than a man of many words!

Oh yes! Mm-hmm. *nodding head* I'm loving this so very much!

Having Jaime talk with them seperately was a good move. Somehow it seems he would deflect the situation with humor or sidestep some topics if they were both there looking at him with their sad, adorable eyes and would just make the situation uncomfortable.
I liked the line, "She appreciated how important it was to maintain even an illusion that something good could happen, despite all indications to the contrary." It revealed her pained life, but also her strength.
And Sansa confessing that she loved Sandor and knew that Jaime loved Sandor too and that they both loved Jaime back...*sighs* I'm loving the love.

My goodness, the moment with Sandor and Jaime! I just couldn't contain all the feels that were bursting out at that moment! It was so sudden and intense and...rough, wow :D
I'm really curious to see now how the pack will function and interact now.

Lol - btw, that bit about Sandor's knuckles...*purrrr* Oh yes, lovely visual there!

Aaaahh thank you, this soothed my soul and made me smirk from happiness that you identified what I was trying to convey! Indeed, illusion and hope are some of the most powerful things keeping us people afloat - they can't be taken away from us without causing serious damage.

And as I alluded to moony earlier, they have individual relationships with each other, being all so very different. For example, Jaime could jape with Sansa and try to hide his feelings, but with Sandor he couldn't do that. Sandor again...he loves his little bird (although he may not say so), but he can't just dismiss and throw into cold someone who was one of the very few people ever to get through to him as a person.

And yes, as men they are quite different, but both very attractive and exciting in their own way - vive la difference! :-)
