So I picked up a rental guide from the real estate agent when I went in to pay rent the other day, just to see what kind of properties we'd be looking at in our price range when we decide to move out of this place in a few months. I found one. Let me quote you:

1.I can say from experience. As a child I loved going to sleep to the sounds of the ocean. It's extremly soothing.
2. Cooler summers
3. The Ocean is a playground for everyone. (make sure you watch Aramis when he visits)
4. Still close to the city, far enough away to feel more secure.
5. THE STORMS!!!!! *grins* and we both know how many bonus points that'll score.
Downsides:
1. Further to travel for work.
2. Going anywhere would probably require a car
3. Windows. The seabreeze is nice, but keeping the windows clean with all the salt can be troublesome.
4. Colder Winters.
Overall: Do what you love. It looks like a nice place to me, and I loved growing up by the sea.
