It really is terrible. It gets worse and worse every cycle. Why do I keep watching it? There always manages to be one or two who are either adorable or hilarious and I can't help myself. Plus I really like the photoshoots. Sigh. Stupid stupid ANTM.

We just finished a cycle here. My fav didn't win. Next week they are showing New Zealand's!

My fave never wins. Mostly because I always like the awkward smart girls who usually start out well but wash out towards the end because they're too weird. Alas.

I'm always amazed how every other country's Top Model is so much better (well, except Canada, we're still lame). Especially Australia's, I love that one :D

I felt Tyra couldn't get over Alison being 'awkward' in the cycle they just showed here. If she had treated her normally I think she would have seen how mature she was.

Agreed! She's probably my favourite model out of all the cycles I've seen (which is an awful lot of them, haha...). She got slotted into the 'weirdo' role right from the start, and once the judges have you pegged it's pretty much impossible to break out of it. In some ways I'm happier she didn't win because generally the runners-up go on to have more successful careers than the winners, which is kind of hilarious.
