I'm not down with paying a $20 cover, so I'm with you on the not-watching-it front. Why do I have to pay a cover for an international match on Setanta? But when it's PL on Setanta, I pay zilch and quite enjoy paying zilch?

I don't think I can even get Setanta up here, which makes me pretty mad. Sigh, no one in this province cares about football except for the crazy international students. So sad.

Yeah, it got a lot less good after the first half bowl. Didn't stop me from eating the rest of it though. Sigh.

I couldn't watch England matches anyway because they're $25 a match. Stupid Pay-Per-View.

I have heard rumours that TSN is going to be showing the Euros next year though. I hope so. And I hate Setanta for buying out all the football too. I miss curling up on the couch to watch the early-morning football on Sportsnet =( (And I hate The Score. Haaaate.)

I knooooow. We only did PPV once, and that was the Battle of Old Trafford so it was totally worth it. But really, not doing it every single match, guys! You lose at life.

Is TSN the same as Sportsnet? 'Cuz all I really care about is having copious amounts of Gerry and Craig to soothe the pain caused by Tommy Smyth's awful commentary. GERRY/CRAIG FOREVER! :D

Tommy Smyth is slightly less annoying if you imagine him as a leprechaun. (But only slightly. Shut up, Tommy Smyth.) And nope, TSN the Canadian version of ESPN that brings us the joy of his commentary. (Wikipedia says the rights for Euro 2008 belong to ESPN for both the US and Canada, and since the CL matches we get are ESPN ones I'd assume...? But we'll see.)

Waahh, I miss having Gerry and Craig and United all together on Saturday mornings. =((
