Ah well, we had a good run. I didn't honestly think we'd take the Treble this year, anyway. I'll very happily settle for stealing back the Premiership trophy and crushing Chelsea for the FA Cup. Now if we can just bounce back and beat up on City this weekend, things will be shiny once more

I can't honestly say I thought we'd ever win the Champions League this year, but the longer you stay in the competition the more you begin to believe, and especially after that Roma game...

Still, as you said, we're still in for the Premiership and the FA Cup. That'd be a damn good season by anyone's standards. But dammit, it'll be hard to take from the Liverpool supporters if they go on and win it. It's almost enough to make me want Milan to win.

Goes to show what a difference it makes - United and Chelsea chasing three different trophies, whereas Liverpool and Milan could both just focus on the Champions League.

Aww. Yeah, it's different for me since I don't have the background with the huge Liverpool rivalry (here, I'm lucky if people know either team), so for me, I'd rather Liverpool win. And it's always nice to see the team that beat you get creamed by someone else. In any case, I just want a good game.

I know I ought to support Liverpool since they're an English team and all, but oh man, they'd really rub it in if they won again! But as you say, I'd love to see Milan suffer the pain of losing it to Liverpool again, especially since Milan shouldn't even have been in the damn competition after that match-fixing business! It actually wasn't those two (for once). Tommy Smyth is a giant douchebag, but this guy was just as bad. I should find out his name... the British guy was Seamus something, and the other... Adrian? Something like that. I wish they'd let Gerry and Craig commentate from the studio instead of forcing us to listen to these morons. Sigh.
