I mentioned on facebook recently that I wish I had a tragic death filter on my internet. I wasn't joking. I don't handle that kind of story well, and the fact that it trends to the top of the news makes it dangerous to my mental health

Faith might be a comfort, it might be a test. There is patently obviously no definitive way to *prove* one way or another than magic, life after death, god, angels, or pre-destination exist. If it were possible, it would have been done, and so for you, as for everyone else ever born who struggles with it, it will be a personal choice

*hugs* There's no way to know why this horrible, horrible thing happened. It definitely makes me question why God allows these things to happen, but by that same token I've also read that it could've been a lot worse. There are so many stories of heroism that are coming out of the wood-works. I still get upset every time I read a new piece of information
