I'm really sorry that this is going this way. That just stinks. All I can suggest is to be persistent with the doctors' offices and ask them to put you on a waiting list for cancellations. That can sometimes get you in a lot sooner.
Oh my God sweety, I can't believe that your doctor didn't feel the need to give you more details about your condition. He should be ashamed of himself. If I were you I would call every single friggin neurologist in DE and try to get an appointment with one sometime this century, if you know what I mean. Don't give up love. Keep trying, the universe will give in eventually. Don't give up. *hugs* I'm here for you.
*hugs* Deffinately keep at harrassing the docs, and make a list of questions to ask. If the damn doctor doesn't wanna listen, find another clinic to go to. >_< Bastards...
I'm so sorry, hon. I'll add to the chorus that your doc sounds like a total ass. :-/
I will tell you from experience that it is better to not read the reports or do your own research when you're already scared. When I get my MRIs I try hard not to read the reports, because the medical language scares the shit out of me. same for research, because the internet seems to find every possible terrible thing that it *could* be.
I'm sorry that the neurologist put you off. I do not know if they could get you in sooner, but my own neurologist is great. he's at University of Pennsylvania. I highly recommend him. I can give you his name and number, if you want. like I said, being a new patient may still be a set-back, but like richlayers says, cancellations do happen.
I will be thinking good thoughts for you. *gentle hugs*
i cannot believe that any doctor would dismiss a patient who might need to ask questions. i'm crossing my fingers for you, despite not knowing its signifigance. i hope you get this all sorted out soon.

I really like your red cabbage picture, btw. That may not have been clear, as my love of red cabbage the vegetable probably overshadowed the comment.
