Euro 2012: Now to the semifinals

So, the semifinals are now ready, and expectations are growing. And so is my criticism level. In fact, just today I actually Twitter-argued with a local football commentator! But anyways. Here's my analysis.

Heh, there is a reason why I mainly don't write up longer reviews or commentaries on games and teams anymore... It's true though that we haven't been as aggressive as we were two or four years ago; something was lacking. Since the last game I'm hopeful though that it is just about resolving itself right now.

I am no one to waste a thought on my team possibly losing, even less so to actually voice such a thought. I hope we can deliver against Italy; they've been beating us for too long.
First I do wonder about tonight's match between Portugal and Spain though. When France 'played' the latter, it was really sad to look at.

Also, I agree on England. It was interesting to watch them. I hope that was not an exception and they'll continue on that path.
