Ha! Good point. I guess it is there sometimes. I just don't like seeing it spelled that way in fic. in any sexual capacity. Totally takes me out of the moment. And it's the same with seed (which I meant as the euphemism that gets me not any other meaning of the word). And I should've said this stuff is just me whining about personal preference, nothing against anyone that uses the words or anything. But for whatever reason it bugs me. But I'm sure everyone has words that just get to them. :D

Yes, there is a point to that. It still isn't my favorite word but the few period AUs I've read that use it make all the difference given the time period. And, of course, in the end if something is written well that helps also.

Ha! Well Make It is just some silly teen show but Damages? THAT is something I seriously recommend. Esp. if you love Glenn Close. Fierce lawyer that hands the big boys their balls? AWESOME.
