Hello. I was meandering through LJ looking for other people with Earth: Final Conflict in their interests, and here you were, and here I am, and you have all those academia posts which are kind of fantastic. I'm in a sort of love/hate relationship with academia right now, mostly due to a critical history I'm writing on Much Ado About Nothing and partially due to the impending terror of writing my undergrad thesis on something or other. You don't care about any of this. Anyway, not sure if you're interested in new friends, but if you are, hello! And if you're not, hello anyway and I'll leave you alone now.
