So, the holidays are more or less over for 2011. Welcome in 2012!
(Er, those of you I promised knitting to who have yet to receive it, I promise I'm working as fast as my fingers and child will allow.)
Anyway, I've made mention of selling scarves in the past, and I wanted to run a couple of possibilities by you:

I got your scarf, it's lovely! I think your prices are to low, take a look at a site called Etsy, you could raise your prices by at least 5 dollars and still come in way under what most charge. Don't shortchange yourself, your craftsmanship is wonderful.

I'm glad you like the scarf. I do actually have an account on Etsy. My concern mainly is trying to price the scarves to where I'm at least making a profit on the yarn cost, meager as it may be, but still low enough that people are willing to buy them in the current economic low. We're getting back up, yes, but the fear isn't going to go away for several more years if the last Depression before this is anything to go by. So, while I want them to sell for at or close to their value in craftsmanship (which, as the craftsperson in question, I will naturally tend to underrate, being my own worst critic), more than that right now I want them to sell at all. ^^
~looks out at everyone else~ Anyone else agree?
