...Although, I have to admit, I've mellowed with age. I'm woman enough to admit that I plan to see the movie when it comes out. And perhaps, despite what I may have argued so vehemently a few years back, I sort of...like it?
Okay, whatever. I've read all the books and was slightly disappointed that they kept pushing the movie release date back...I'm curious to see how the movie will be similar to/different from the book. And I really wanna see that seen with Malfoy looking at himself in the mirror. Intense...
Anyway, haven't talked to you in ages, so I just thought I'd pop in and see what you were up to. How are things going? Any luck on the job/grad school search?
I really miss you and Jihan. Leeshi is so damn far away, and my weekends are so boring. And hardly anyone emails me anymore. I'm all alone in a foreign country!!!

Anyway, I'm glad you kind of like it. They get better as time goes on, because Rowling becomes a better writer and there's more stuff going on. And I wanna see that scene, too!
Not too much is going on. I drove down to Alabama to visit my family and I just got back. There's been no luck on the job search so far... I got a temporary job working for a state senate campaign, but I'm having trouble finding anything more permanent. The economy really sucks! :( Chattanooga just bought the VW plant, so if I learn some German, maybe I can get a job there.
We should skype sometime. I could probably wake up early one day and just say hi. When would be good for you?

So how was working for the campaign? What kind of stuff did they have you doing? Have you been to see Seth yet? How are things going?
Oh yeah, how's Tennessee? Sounds like you're pretty busy with new house projects.
Ooh. So I'm on this online knitting community, Ravelry. I used one of the patterns on there for my purses. And all it requires is knit, purl, and sewing. Weee! Cause most of the stuff on there is still totally beyond me, but it's cool looking at what other people have done. I saw a bunch of those Dr. Who projects on there.
I've been getting up pretty early on the weekends, so we could skype on Friday or Saturday night American time.

Wow, ten thousand questions there.
I liked working on the campaign a lot. Mostly it was just data entry, but sometimes I went with the candidate to dinners and stuff, and on occasion I did some canvassing for Obama's campaign. On election day I worked, like, 14 hours trying to make sure everything was organized and no one did anything crazy. Then for the last four hours I made phone calls to remind people to vote.
Tennessee has mostly been a good time. It's really beautiful. When I drove down to Alabama you could see the difference. Tennessee is pretty; Alabama is like the midwest of the deep south.
I'm on Ravelry, too! Maybe we could find each other. My page looks ridiculous at the moment because I haven't updated any pictures, but yeah. It's a good time.
Okay, either day is fine with me. Maybe on Friday? I have no real Thanksgiving plans. I was going to drive up to Ohio for my reunion but decided not to. Just give me a time. :)
