Well I really need help. I like him, but I cant even talk on the phone to him. He just called me, but I just stared at he and we aren't even together yet! I dont think that its shyness, but just nerves. Somebody, help plz

OK so it sounds like u are totally crazy about this boy. And from what u said about him asking ur friends about you that must mean he's interested in you. I noticed you put he's athletic and stuff and ranked #2 in ur class so am I right to assume he's part of the "popular" crowd? But girl even if he is and your not, don't for one minute think you are not good enough for him! Trust me I'm 21 i've been there done that in my high school days...about the whole shyness/nervous thing have u talked to him like one on one in person instead of on the phone? I'm a very shy person even more so when it comes to a boy I like and I actually feel better if I tell the boy upfront like " u make me nervous but in a good kinda way" does that make ne sense to you? haha

Omg!! U understand! Thank U! But the funny thing is that we're both part of the "popular" crowd. I realised that he knew my friends and I knew his friends, but it just so happens that we didn't know each other. I'm not a very shy and quiet person, its just that when I talk about relationships and things of that matter, I freeze up. And I'm like you, I prefer to talk to him in person and say that "u make me nervous but in a good way." That seems much easier. He actually approached me in person, and I told him that we can be friends right now, because I'm not really that interested in a relationship, but now it seems like I have realised my feelings for him.

I dont mind you writing alot at all, and I'm glad you decided to help me! Thank You so much (and thanks for the add)!

When I read your post I was confused, thought it was fanfiction but then I realized its different. All i can say is you'll never know if you're good enough for him if you don't try being with him and I actually think that there's not a person that is "not good enough" for anyone. The mere fact that he had showed interest in you proves that he found you worthy of his attention. You seemed like a good match and stuff so go grab the opportunity. It's seldom that an opportunity like this happens to anyone you know! I know what it was like being in high school and it kinda sucks if you can't even look at a guy you like in the eye. But I realized how stupid that was, life's too short for you to waste it on such trivial matters. Have the courage to talk to him and things will eventually work out from there. (",) Hope this helps.
