I never would have thought of Die Hard! I just watched "Edward Scissorhands" for the first time the other day, which also is sort of a Christmas movie. It was excellent.

I do like "Edward Scissorhands." Johnny Depp is an excellent actor. And I supposed "The Nightmare Before Christmas" would have been an appropriate choice too. But the first "Die Hard" movie takes place on Christmas Eve. :) And how can I not like Bruce Willis, Alan Rickman and stuff blowing up?
