*hugs* I feel your pain. I found out I was type 2 diabetic the day after Christmas. :/ Had to toss all the rest of the Christmas candy and cookies. Cookie making used to be a big thing around the holidays. Not so much anymore.

Good news is that it can be controlled. But yeah, it's a blow to find out. I mourned Krispy Kremes, and I didn't even like the things all that much.

hugs and splenda is an amazing thing can't even tell the difference between splenda and real sugar so you don't have to give up sweets just get the splenda version i hope that's a little bit of good news

I'm sorry sweet. :0( That's no fun news to get. *huggles*

I know it sounds like mumbo and can be a bit expensive to do, but research shows that 1dl of blueberries a day keep your bloodsugar levels low, as does cinnamon. My mum is a diabetes nurse, so she shares all these interesting little things with me. :0)
