snarl. That sucks. And geez, why yell at the vet's office people when she was the one who let her dog out?

Part of the HOA contract in our housing development stipulates that pets be kept indoors.

Our neighbors had a cat that looked for all the world like one of ours, and they let it run around outside.

Now, both of our kitties are indoor animals only, partly because we don't want to deal with fleas or other parasites, but also because one is declawed.

Astute readers will have noticed that I speak of our animals in the present tense, but our neighbors' cat in the past.

See, our area has a large number of hawks. We don't know for certain, but we suspect one of them carried off the neighbors' kitty.
