“Marry me.”
Jared glanced up from the script his agent had sent him to consider for the summer hiatus. “What?”
Jensen sat down beside him on the couch, “Marry me.”
He searched his face and found nothing but sincerity. “You’re serious.”
He blew out a nervous breath, “Well yeah.”
“But I thought we had decided to hold off until…” His voice tapered off and he tilted his head. A small smile started at the corners of his mouth, “So we’re back to good.”
It wasn’t a question, didn’t require an answer but Jensen shrugged. “It’s almost been a year Jared. I think you’ve proven yourself above and beyond.”
“When?”
Jensen grinned, “It’s a long weekend this weekend and you know we get it off because most of the crew are Canadian.”
Jared raised an eyebrow, “Our parents will kill us.”
He waved him off before taking his hand, “Not legal for us to get married in Texas anyway. We’ll let our mothers plan a big post wedding reception for the first weekend of summer hiatus.”
“Who will witness for us?”
He shook his head as his excitement started to show on Jared’s face. “Don’t care. Kim and Eric?”
He laughed, “You want Steve, Chris and Chad pissed at us too?”
“We’ll call all five of them. Whichever two get to city hall first can be our witnesses.”
Jared started to nod, “Yeah.”
Jensen’s eyes crinkled at the corners when he smiled, “Yeah?”
Jared pushed him back and straddled his lap, “Yeah.”
