Summary: Sam ponders what he wishes he'd done and had as he prepares to rescue Dean.
A/N: Written for virtualpersonal who requested a follow up drabble to Balancing Act. However I don't think this is what you were expecting sweetie, sorry, the muse does what she wants but you get a follow up to this one too so hopefully that makes up for it. Prompt used was Tightrope fromspn_drabble.
Sam knows he’s walking a precarious edge, balanced on a tightrope too high up with no safety net below. But what else can he do? He needs Dean like he needs air.
Times like these, as he concentrates on shelving the power, he wishes he could have learned control sooner. Wishes his black and white father hadn’t scared Dean into believing that if he couldn’t keep Sam from this power then he’d have to kill him.
Wishes Bobby had been their father.
Bobby understands, Bobby supports him and Bobby’s the one that will help him steal Dean back from hell.
