I really like Amy here. She could be a good 'big sister' figure in Dick's life. And I love her willingness to keep his secret and hassle him about being close to Slade.

This is what should have happened. Amy should have wised up and never fired the best thing that ever happened to her police force. Stupid woman. I like her here though, especially when she "moms" poor Dick. hehe.

Nice fic, too bad it's not canon.
