The first one was lovely. Made me think that maybe Slade wasn't lost after all.

And then you wrote the second one. And I cried. Damnit, Slade.

The first one was great, no doubt, but the last...ouch. That was wonderful in it's hurt and how hoepless Slade felt, to be driven to that point.

The first one had that little bit of light tinting the edges and then the second just hurt. I feel so badly for both of them and can't help but wonder what Dick's last thought was.

The first...yes, remorse is a good emotion to still feel.

The second...Sometimes I think my brain needs disassociated from the muses I try to write, because I could hear Slade all grim and gritty in my head at the tale end of that.

So very good with both of them.

The first one's like, "Oh, there's hope yet"...and the second one is all "OH NO THERE ISN'T!!!" D:

Very powerful writing, and beautiful, in an appalling way. lol
