Hm. We've been watching Supernatural and yet I have no idea who Jody is. Who is he/she?

Sheriff Jody Mills of Sioux Falls. Back during the apocalypse, her son was brought back from the dead and killed her husband, thus bringing her into the know. She and Bobby almost had a thing but then he died. She's tough, strong, no-nonsense, and I just adore her. I kind of ship her with Sam sometimes.
