Jim and I got our iPhones (and why is a single iPhone spelled correctly but multiple iPhones not? I HATE spell checker because it's idiotic.) from the Verizon store, using Jim's business account, all in one evening. They must be harder to get now.
Sometimes it seems that companies make hoops for consumers to jump through just to see if they will. Sooner or later, the consumers will decide there are other companies to buy from.
My boss finally did it through his iPhone dealing with a real person but it still took 20 minutes. Our local AT&T stores never seem to have them when he stops by. They kept telling him to do it online but I couldn't get an account set up!
Our local AT & T stores are never well-stocked. And I'm not surprised you couldn't set up an online account either. I swear, AT & T makes it difficult to deal with them!
I wish he'd switch providers. He went with AT&T originally because they were the only ones with iPhones and they were also the best for local landline. Our current office phones and internet are through the local cable company/VOIP service and are part of our rent, so he's just paying for cell phones.
My family's used TMobile for years and are pretty happy with them. I like the Samsung phones a lot, too.
