Oh geez, I've been writing fanfic for 18 years. I have written hundreds of fics; I could spend days trying to find something.
But, overall, one of the fics I'm most proud of is "The End" in my Buffy series TEAOW&S. Unlike 98% of my fics, I planned a lot of this out and wrote a lot of it before I started posting (it's over 20 chapters long). I wanted, needed it to work, to wrap up the series that started as a smutfic that became a series of smutfics that became my signature series.
Chapter 9 is subtitled "The Best Friends". The first two parts are all prose. I think it's a pretty good illustration of my writing style. I love angst. I've been called evil for very good reasons.
I don't write just descriptive pieces; my prose is really people's thoughts, so here's Angel's:

in recent years I'm more about pairings and genres than authors but one in Teen Wolf particularly stands out: kouriarashi over on AO3 writes brilliant mate fics, but mostly I love her treatment of Peter (I assume it's a 'her' and I haven't read all her fics) as a sympathetic character. She fleshes out little used (or just heard of like Talia) characters well, too
