the add thing you mention is actually some kind of malware. Check the name on google, aka the name they give in the link, it'll probably lead you to some ways to get rid of it. It's hidden in your program files and your firefox extentions if I well remember it from when I had it on my computer.

It's annoying as hell, but easy enough to get rid of.

Yes, I had exactly that annoying problem also. DH fixed it for me, so I just asked him exactly what he did.

He says there are two components to it. One is to check Firefox for add-ons and take (most likely) the latest one out. The other component is to use Control Panel and remove something called "less2paayy" (yes, spelled like that).

Anyway that was the fix for me. good luck.

I reset my Firefox and removed a couple programs (different names than that one) and that worked. Stupid malware.

Of course I didn't think it was that. I figured Firefox was being cheap! lol
