So the weather's done another complete 180. Yesterday for chalice circle late afternoon I wore a cardigan in the 56 degree sunny weather. Around 6:00 gale force winds hit and the temperature plummeted. It's now 13 degrees, though the wind has died down. Really, a couple times last night I was afraid the roof was going to blow off. The trash can is automatic - two notes and you get the bigger one without your consent. It's also stupid. I see our trash picked up weekly and they never use the automated truck, the men pick it up with their hands. It feels like a gimmick.

I only got one note, though. I dunno, it seems like a stupid waste of personnel to send people around swapping out trashcans and then doing it again when the owner complains. I have a feeling it was a mistake.

And, hell, some of the people in my neighborhood put out extra bags at least once a month and never have gotten a bigger can.

Very random.

I think we don't have enough automated trucks for every neighborhood? Mine has one. I think there are two men in the truck still so one can get out for the extra bags and cans.

I'm not thrilled with the whole thing; only thing good about it is that before I paid for my mini dumpster from the city and now I have a can for free.
