Last day of not very much to do at work before a huge pile the next two days. Hopefully boss will be gone most of the day because I still haven't written any of that Yuletide fic. It's in my head, though, and I actually did research! Well, I wikied... The other fic is done and loaded. Neither is going to be very long. That one was around 1600

Yeah, I'm not going to a library to research for fanfic. *g* I did ask my dad a couple questions, as a historian.

Take care out there! The weather reports are becoming more dire by the minute -- I'll be keeping an eye out on you guys to get an idea of what's going to happen here.

We had a lot of rain first (which it looks like you're getting) and then around midnight we got some sleet that at some point turned to snow. Maybe an inch and a half total, but the high winds (35-45 mph) made it drift so much it's hard to tell. It stayed in the upper 20s so by the morning drive, all the roads were slushy already.

Stay safe! It's the winds that supposedly made traveling bad--blizzard like conditions. But it had stopped snowing here by the time I left for work.
